- Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, if using, to an espresso shot glass. Brew the espresso directly over the sugar and cinnamon. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
- Fill a serving glass with ice and pour the milk over the ice.
- Add at least 6 ice cubes to a cocktail shaker. Pour the brown sugar espresso mixture into the shaker. Cover tightly and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker feels frosty.
- Pour the shaken espresso over the milk in the serving glass. Stir gently to combine.
