- Brew the espresso according to your machine's instructions.
- Heat the milk and froth it to create foam. You can use your espresso machine's frothing wand, a separate milk frother, or heat the milk in a saucepan and then use a handheld frothing wand or a whisk.
- Add the simple syrup to your coffee mug.
- Pour the milk and foam into the mug.
- Pour the fresh espresso through the foam. Drizzle the caramel sauce on top.
